It took almost three weeks to arrive but they seem to be the right prescription and do the job. If you're looking for a backup pair of glasses, this is a great way to save a lot of money.
When we visited my grandparents' house in preparation for the estate sale, we had to rent a U-Haul trailer. We think it was fitting that the only one left had "Holland, MI" on the side with tulips and a windmill since Grandma was Dutch.

Last Monday, we went to Velvet Tango Room and experienced their new menu. Old classics are still there and new classics have been added.
VTR has apparently been filmed for The Best Thing I Ever Ate on Food Network. Great news for them but possibly means that the long waits will be getting longer.
Also, while we were there, we ran into John Ettinger and his wife. He is a food critic and they were visiting various cities in the Midwest.

Here's a shot of my old high school. Times sure have changed. They've removed the Fallout Shelter sign and replaced it with a No Smoking sign (being a holiday, I didn't see if the students still stand on the sidewalk and smoke).
