Today, we went to Candy Land in Cleveland. You can play the life sized game, including the slide at the very end. They even have all of the versions of the board game from the 1940s to present day on display.
This past Saturday was Derek's company Christmas party. Derek won a PlayStation Portable (PSP) and I danced in my own production on stage. We also went to see the Rockettes in Cleveland's off-Broadway show.
" What are you lookin' at, lady? All the cool kids wear bows on their heads. Here, let me get you one."
Dylan got his Christmas presents from us early. We got him toys, books and this cool green wagon which included seat belts, storage underneath one of the seats, a door and cup holders. He had lots of fun!
I spent my Fall Break up in Ohio to see my sweet husband. Of course, he had to work all week but we did go to the orchard on Saturday. We got golden delicious apples, apple cider, apple butter and even tried an apple cider slushie (yummy)!
After spending 4 days in Ohio, I had to drive 4 1/2 to 5 hours back to Indy. It is the most boring drive ever (as you can see from the picture)!! Hopefully one of these days Derek and I won't have to make these drives anymore.
Happy 1st Birthday to our favorite niece! Uncle Derek and Aunt Angie wish we could be there to celebrate your special day.....but we will see you at Thanksgiving. Hope you get lots of presents and eat lots of cake and ice cream =) Love you!!
Derek and I went to Cedar Point on Saturday. We tagged along with one of his co-workers and his wife. Here is just one picture from the weekend for your enjoyment. More to come later. Good grief.....it's Snoopy!!
We had a very big, very ugly, very dead tree cut down in our front yard this week. It would have eventually fallen into the street if we hadn't gotten rid of it. Here is what is left of it. Do you think we'll have enough firewood for the winter?
