After about an hour of shoveling I got this much done (in front of the garage door and around to the driveway). My arms wanted to fall off, I was sweating like a pig and I wanted to collapse.
Luckily, the boy next door saw me and offered to use their snow blower and finish the driveway for me. Thank the Lord!! He got this done in no time!
I had to post this! It may be the only time someone recognizes me for what I do at work. Teachers at my school pass on mini-trophies each month to another teacher to recognize work they do at school. I have never gotten one, since I am the speech-language pathologist. Speech-language pathologists at schools can sometimes not be recognized for what they do. I guess you can say people don't consider us "real" teachers, and we can often be ignored. Anyways, I actually got one this month!! I was shocked and surprised. It was so nice that someone appreciated what I do for students =)
