Día Dos

Sorry for no post yesterday. The internet was not working. We'll do another post this afternoon to make up for it.

Here are more pictures from around the resort. As you can see, the weather has been beautiful.

Bienvenidos al Puerto Rico!

We arrived in Puerto Rico on Sunday. The resort is beautiful and we are looking forward to a fun week exploring the island!

Saturday night, we tried out Michael Symon's new bar in Avon Lake (Ohio). The food was good (soft polenta makes another appearance!) but he has set the bar very high with Lola, Lolita and Roast and this new restaurant did not quite measure up. Most notably, Bar Symon fails to be a bar first (which, if you're familiar with Lolita, is quite a surprise) and focuses on the food first. Unfortunately, the restaurant is (and feels) empty on a Saturday night while bw-3 (in the parking lot) is packed.

This Is It

We went to see This Is It on Saturday. If you like Michael Jackson's music at all or are interested in the choreography and production side of the music industry, I would highly recommend it. We are really hoping that the 3D Thriller mini-movie will be included on the DVD/BluRay release.

Haunted Prison

On Friday night, we visited the Haunted Prison Experience at the Ohio Reformatory in Mansfield, Ohio. This is the same prison that was used for filming in Shawshank Redemption.
