Camels in Indiana

This was an unusual site to see. Camels grazing in rural Indiana.

You Must Eat Here!

Mississippi Belle. One of Indianapolis' hidden secrets.

Jungle Jim's

Went to Jungle Jim's yesterday. It is grocery store + liquor store + amusement park. Here are a couple of videos and pictures.

Although the audio isn't great, the Campbell's Soup Can tells you about the specials and sings the M'm M'm Good song.

The "Best Restrooms in America":

This is the entrance/exit by the parking lot:

Dinner with an Iron Chef

My Christmas present last December from Derek was a cooking class with Iron Chef Michael Symon!! I finally went to it this week. IT WAS SO MUCH FUN!!!! We were at his restaurant, Lolita. He showed us how to make 4 different things, and then we got to eat everything for dinner. Michael Symon was great!!!! He talked with everyone at their tables and let us take pictures with him and sign autographs. I LOVED IT!!! Thanks sweetie for a great Christmas present!!!!

The Great Pumpkin

Halloween is almost here again!

Browns vs. Bengals

Another disappointing loss for the Browns today. I had great seats (6th row) though and the game was close and went into overtime.

Great Great Great Grandparents

Found this picture of Derek's great great great grandparents on the web.

Moses & Callie Thornton, parents of Eunice, mother of Callie, mother of EJ, father of Lorene, mother of Derek.

Szalay's

Right down the street from Derek's apartment in Ohio, there is a small farmer's market we like to go to occasionally. It has the freshest fruits and vegetables. You can also munch on some roasted corn on the cob and ice cream while you shop and relax outside.

Florence, Y'All

Went to Belterra Casino yesterday for a meeting. Had to drive through Florence, Y'All.
