The Ballentines Visit Ohio (The Train Ride)

We rode the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad from Peninsula to Akron on Saturday. Lorelai made a new friend and was very excited to not have to ride in a seat but be able to run around.

Lorelai got to visit Chuck E. Cheese in Akron and apparently it has more toddler rides than the one in Jackson, Tennessee. Lorelai was able to get in and out of most of the rides by herself.

New Kitchen Table & Chairs

Derek worked hard and put together our brand new kitchen table and chairs. It looks so nice =) Next up....finish painting the shed.

Madagascar Shrimp

Dinner Tuesday night was at Johnnie's Hideaway in Orlando. This is a Madagascar shrimp. To fully appreciate the scale of this beast, that is a 22 oz. steak next to it.

Dylan's 1st Birthday Party

We celebrated Dylan's 1st birthday today!! He will be officially 1 on Wednesday, but all of his family and friends came a few days early to give him lots of presents and love =)


Here he is on his radio flyer tricycle that his Uncle Derek & Auntie Ang. got him.

Another one of his many presents. Along with the tricycle that we got him, he got a big wheel from his other aunt and uncle. Now he has 2 new bikes!!

A toy lawn mower from grandma and grandpa. It makes lots of noise!

Valentine's Weekend

For the second year in a row, we went to Lolita in Cleveland for dinner. As always, it was excellent.


We are preparing for Caroline, Rusty & Lorelai to visit in March so we rode the train on Sunday to make sure it would be entertaining for a little girl. Valentine's Day was clearly over as we were in the No Humping section.

Ike & Jonesy's

Derek and I, Jaime and Giancarlo went out Saturday night to Ike & Jonesy's downtown. Needless to say, we had a pretty good time =)
